ELlX Polymers, a subsidiary of Sinochem Interational, recently announced that its ELIX PC/ABS 5130 material has been successfully adopted for several interior components of the new SAlC-GM Buick GL8. Leading auto parts supplier Yanfeng officially selected the material for seat back panels, armrests, LCD screen frames. And other components with high, performance requirements, marking another breakthrough for ELlX plastics in premium automotive interiors
ELIX PC/ABS 5130 was chosen for its ability to meet GM's stringent standards, offering outstanding heat resistance, impact strength, and paintability, it also features low emissions, minimal odor, and high flowability, enabling quick and efficient molding of thin-walled parts.
Yanfeng, Sinochem lnternational, and ELlX have previously collaborated closely to co-develop and bring a range of interior components into mass production.
