On November 6, Sinochem International and Honeywell signed several cooperation agreements at the 2019 China International Import Expo (CIIE), as part of the digital transformation and sustainable development program for the factories of Sinochem International.
Under these agreements, Sinochem International is to employ Honeywell's Experion Process Knowledge System (PKS) to achieve higher operational efficiency, optimized performance, and lower costs. Sennics will drive the digital transformation of its Lianyungang plant by utilizing Honeywell DCS, Honeywell Manufacturing Execution Systems (Honeywell MES), smart meters, and metering solutions. Jiangsu Ruiheng plans to apply Honeywell UOP Q-Max and UOP Phenol process technologies to the production of cumene and phenol acetone with an annual output of 550,000 tons and 650,000 tons respectively.
On that day, Frank Ning, Chairman of Sinochem Group, and Liu Hongsheng, President of SBU of Chemicals of Sinochem and General Manager of Sinochem International, visited the Honeywell booth while touring the exhibition area of Sinochem's partners.
Liu Hongsheng said, "Honeywell owns cutting-edge expertise and practical experience in management, and is our long-term partner. The new cooperation agreements are expected to generate new driving force and synergy for the growth of both parties.
